June Financial Update

As we wrap up June, it’s time to take a look at the financial health and impact of Koffiyeh. Our mission is not just to brew exceptional coffee but also to brew change by helping Muslims in need across the world. Here’s a detailed breakdown of our financials from last month, showcasing how every cup you enjoy contributes to a greater cause.

Revenue and Sales Performance

June was a start up month for Koffiyeh. Any sales we achieved was via ordering test products and testing the checkout flow. As of June 2024 there is no revenue to report.

Breakdown of Expenses

Running an online store comes with its set of operational costs. Here’s how our expenses were allocated in June:

Contracting Costs: $565.23 was spent on contractors who helped develop the product packaging and website design. We hired local Palestinians from the West Bank to produce both the packaging design and website. We’ve retained these contractors for future projects. As website development continued into July, we expect to see contracting expenses next month as well.

Domain Registration: $12 went towards domain registration fee. This is an annual fee that we will not expect to see next month.

Product Samples: $55.08 went towards ordering preliminary product samples. Samples were ordered to determine print and coffee quality. Additional samples will be ordered from time for marketing shots.

Profits and Donations

Due to no sales this month, no profits were recorded, and therefore no donations made. We hope to generate some profits next month to put towards a reputable non-profit.

Looking Ahead

As we move forward, our goal is to increase our revenue and, consequently, our impact. We plan on launching in July, 2024. Every purchase you make at Koffiyeh is a step towards providing essential aid to those in need. Thank you for being a part of our journey and for your continuous support. Together, we are brewing not just coffee but a better future for many. Stay tuned for more updates, and keep brewing with a purpose.
